MARIA MENDONCA

I am a Senior Frontend Engineer with nearly 5 years of experience architecting resilient, accessible, and high-performance web applications. My career spans building mission-critical interfaces for the banking industry to driving enterprise-scale frontend governance, accessibility initiatives, and performance optimization.

My technical approach centers on clean architecture, inclusive design by default, and bridging business strategy with technical execution. Whether migrating legacy monoliths to modern microservices, establishing strict quality guardrails, or leading high-priority engineering squads, I focus on delivering scalable software that drives measurable impact.

Beyond technical skills, I'm a strong problem-solver and collaborator. I've successfully resolved critical production issues, mentored junior developers, and collaborated effectively with cross-functional teams. I'm always eager to learn and grow, and I'm excited to contribute my skills to challenging and innovative projects.
